One of the most recent and shocking issues in the media has been the rise or gun crime and gun related deaths in the UK. in the last five years, particularly in London the amount of gun crime taking place has grown, constantly reminding us we are not living in a stable environment. gun crime amongst youths recently evident in schools, is the main concern of many individuals. Why is it that gun crime has become so popular?? many put blame on video games, such as Grand Theft Auto, influencing youths to themselves pick up guns in reality and run around like vigilantes. others blame music, particularly rap music of America that comes from the gun crazed ghettos, constantly talking about 'ghatting' (shooting) up rival gang members. my questions of concern is where are the guns coming from?? how are youths being able to get access to them?? and what is the government really doing to resolve this serious matter??
